“Tents of Mercy” is not a commercial institution.
Its work is sustained through voluntary donations from church members, families, and private supporters, coordinated by the religious community.

Each donation has a specific purpose — supporting residents’ daily needs:
nutrition, medication, hygiene supplies, care services, and living conditions.

We believe in transparency and responsibility:
every contribution becomes tangible care for a real person.

How does our Nursing Home for elderly people with special needs - «Tents of Mercy» function?

We are not a commercial establishment. The activity of the nursing home is provided exclusively at the expense of charitable assistance, that comes through the Charitable Fund "Mission Ochaley- Rachamim". Thanks to contributions from benefactors, relatives of our patients, and humanitarian supporters from Europe, we can fully care for our dependents.

For the needs of our Parents' House, the Charitable Fund allocates humanitarian cargoes from Europe - this is food, medical products, care and hygiene products, functional furniture for people with special needs, sometimes equipment. However, even in this case, the nursing home «Tents of Mercy» independently covers significant expenses, related to the functioning of the institution and comfortable stay of our patients.

About charitable contributions

To admit a person to our elderly care home, a targeted charitable donation to the religious community's account is required.. The amount of the contribution is determined individually, depending on the patient's condition, care needs, and duration of stay.

Important! These funds are not profit and cannot be withdrawn from the account as income. They are directed only to specific needs of the nursing home - food, care products, medications, utilities, cleaning, territory arrangement, leisure, and so on.

Special emphasis - care for bedridden people

This is a category of patients that requires special attention. For them, more staff is involved, special medical beds are installed, constant control and hygiene are provided to avoid bedsores and ensure comfortable conditions.

It is also worth noting that - we strive to be not only a place of physical care, but also a center of spiritual revival. The nursing home «Tents of Mercy» - is a space where services take place, communication with priests and pastors, where each can find inner peace, support, and spiritual support.

We exist not for profit, but for help. And thanks to indifferent people - our benefactors - every day we have the opportunity to care for those who really need it.
