It's very good that you have a church here

'Mom didn't even consider going to such establishments. But I am in Poland and cannot take care of her as she deserves.

I used to send money to neighbors for care, but the relationship left much to be desired. Then we started looking for care centers, and when she found out that there is spiritual support, medical supervision, and a decent attitude here - it gave her faith that she can still live and live, and me a sense of peace. Now when she calls, she is in a good mood and doesn't complain.

Like in a sanatorium, not in a boarding house

Better than expected

'It was important for us not to place him just anywhere, but to have normal conditions and attitudes. That's why we searched for a long time, visited, and chose. I won't say that there is a lot to choose from now, because, as they say in the advertisement, it's one thing, and in reality, it's another.

Therefore, when we arrived at Shater Myloserdia, a different approach was immediately visible: conditions, renovation, and attitude towards people.

My mother says that it is much better than she thought. There is no feeling that she was sent away.

Here she is safe, cared for, full, and most importantly - not alone. She started knitting and even watching movies. This is a huge relief for our family.'

Like a second family

'When we made the decision to send dad to the boarding house, we were very worried because he was a rather withdrawn person and had difficulty walking. We live in another city and taking him to live with us was not an option.

And now, new friends, walks in the fresh air instead of a balcony, regular meals - it benefits him. When we visit him, we see a smile - and this is the best proof that the choice was right.'

Everything is good

Medical help that saves lives
